Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage quality control processes for filter elements and housings.

- Develop and implement inspection protocols, including in-process and final product testing.

- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for non-conformances.

- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

- Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME).

- Oversee calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.

- Prepare and analyze quality reports and metrics.

- Review and approve fabrication procedures, welding processes, and filtration system designs.

- Ensure quality standards are met in the fabrication of filter elements, including media pleating, bonding, and housing assembly.

- Monitor and validate filtration performance through rigorous testing, including particle count analysis, pressure drop measurements, and flow rate assessments.

- Conduct mechanical inspections, including dimensional analysis, tolerance verification, and surface finish checks.

- Inspect and verify the integrity of welded joints, brazed connections, and other mechanical assemblies.

- Assess and test material properties, such as tensile strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance.

- Provide guidance on mechanical design improvements to enhance product durability and performance.

- Evaluate and select appropriate materials for filter elements and housings, including metals, polymers, and filter media.

- Ensure material compatibility with various operating environments, such as high temperatures, corrosive conditions, and high-pressure systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering.

- 5+ years of experience in quality control, with a focus on fabrication, filtration, mechanical inspection, and material science.

- Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and statistical process control (SPC).

- Strong knowledge of materials, including metals, polymers, and filtration media, along with their manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).

- Hands-on experience with filtration testing and validation methods.

- Familiarity with welding, brazing, and other fabrication techniques used in filter manufacturing.

- Expertise in mechanical inspection techniques, including the use of calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

- Certification in Six Sigma, CQE, or related is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
