Job Overview


We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Primary English Lead Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As the Primary English Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and managing the English curriculum for our CAIE program. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Senior: 7 to 10 years of experience in teaching English to primary students
  • Strong knowledge of the CAIE curriculum and assessment standards
  • Proven track record of successful student outcomes in English language
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to student success
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with technology integration in teaching


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the English curriculum for the CAIE program
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' English language skills
  • Design and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the curriculum standards
  • Monitor and assess students' progress and provide timely feedback
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment in the classroom
  • Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate English language skills across the curriculum
  • Provide guidance and support to junior English teachers
  • Regularly communicate with parents/guardians to report on students' academic progress
  • Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and educational trends in English language teaching
