Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Movement & Music Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As a Movement & Music Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging learning environment for preschool students. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience and possess a strong background in music, dance, and movement. If you are enthusiastic about teaching young children and have a creative approach to incorporating movement and music into education, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Dance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Movement & Music Teacher or similar role
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles
• Strong musical and rhythmic skills
• Ability to teach various genres of music and dance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with young children and promoting their holistic development
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability
• Organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with the CAIE curriculum is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver movement and music lessons for preschool students
• Create a dynamic and engaging learning environment through various movement and music activities
• Develop lesson plans that incorporate movement, music, and dance to enhance student's learning experience
• Encourage students' creativity and self-expression through movement and music
• Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate movement and music into the overall curriculum
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and development
• Stay updated with new trends and research in movement and music education
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
