Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Middle Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As a Middle Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching CAIE and IB Mathematics to middle school students. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience teaching mathematics at the middle school level.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching CAIE and IB Mathematics at the middle school level.
• Strong knowledge of the CAIE and IB curriculum standards for Mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring students to excel in mathematics.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Experience in using technology and digital tools in the classroom.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Valid teaching certification/license.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in CAIE and IB Mathematics to middle school students.
• Design and develop curriculum materials that align with the CAIE and IB curriculum standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can excel in their mathematical skills.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and implement educational activities and programs.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns or issues.
• Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and tools in mathematics education.
• Participate in professional development sessions and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
