Job Overview


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced IBDP Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience teaching Spanish, preferably in an International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field
  • Teaching certification or qualification
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish to high school students
  • Expertise in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
  • Familiarity with the IB Spanish curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and a dedication to student success
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons for IBDP students
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student engagement and foster a love for the Spanish language and culture
  • Develop and implement appropriate assessment strategies to measure student learning and progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their language development
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the Spanish language program
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on teaching methodologies and IB curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
