Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced IBDP Economics Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As an IBDP Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality economics education to students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, with a mid-level requirement of 4 to 6 years of experience.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field
  • Teaching certification or qualification in Economics
  • Proven experience in teaching IBDP Economics
  • Deep knowledge of the IBDP Economics curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about teaching and student learning
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in IBDP Economics to students
  • Develop and implement appropriate instructional strategies and materials
