Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As an IB PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Education (B. Ed.) or Post Graduate Diploma in International Education (PGDIE) or Certificate in International and Development Education (CIDTL)
• Experience as a Primary Homeroom Teacher or Primary Teacher in IB or CAIE Preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the IB PYP curriculum
• Passion for teaching and working with young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement the IB PYP curriculum and create lesson plans based on curriculum standards
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in a homeroom setting
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching practices
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students
