EdisonOS is a cutting-edge EdTech company dedicated to empowering educators, tutoring businesses, and learners through innovative digital platforms. We are currently developing a new SaaS assessment management system specifically tailored for test prep tutoring businesses offering standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, and more. Our goal is to provide an end-to-end solution for seamless creation, delivery, and analysis of digital testing experiences.

We are seeking a Product Designer with a blend of user-centered design, product-led growth (PLG) expertise, and a passion for building intuitive, impactful SaaS products. In this role, you will focus on designing a digital testing platform that meets the specific needs of test prep businesses, educators, and students, ensuring our assessment tools are both easy to adopt and effective in driving measurable learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Insights

• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand the needs and pain points of test prep tutors, administrators, and students.
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to inform product design decisions.

PLG-Focused Experience

• Embed product-led growth strategies into every aspect of the user journey, from sign-up and onboarding to ongoing usage and retention.
• Continuously optimize flows and features to improve activation, engagement, and trial-to-paid conversion rates.

SaaS Interface & Experience Design

• Translate business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that drive clarity, consistency, and functionality.
• Ensure designs align with EdisonOS brand standards and are scalable for future product iterations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with product managers to clarify business objectives, user stories, and solution requirements.
• Partner with engineers to ensure feasibility, maintain consistency, and deliver a cohesive user experience.
• Present design concepts, rationale, and trade-offs to stakeholders, incorporating feedback promptly.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay up-to-date on design trends, particularly in EdTech and assessment management.
• Identify and implement best practices in usability, accessibility, and design processes to enhance product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design, ideally within SaaS, EdTech, or related fields.
• PLG Expertise: Proven track record of designing products with product-led growth strategies, focusing on user onboarding, engagement, and retention.
• Design Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, along with knowledge of prototyping and usability testing software.
• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with front-end technologies and an understanding of how designs translate into code.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a user-first mindset.
• Passion for Education: A genuine interest in enhancing learning outcomes and supporting educators and students.
