Configure the desktops using tools

/  Install desktop OS, messaging client, applications such as Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, WinRar, as per Customer’s software deployment policy, and add or remove accessories, peripherals or mobile devices and configure PCs

/  Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of CUSTOMER

/  Configuration of printers, data card, scanners etc.

/  Configuration of internet settings and proxy settings

/  Configuration of mail clients and troubleshooting mail client related issues

/  Troubleshoot and resolve desktop / laptop OS issues

/  Troubleshoot back up failure through comvault backup solution for senior managers and coordinate with the central customer comvault support team

/  Replace faulty spares for Desktop / laptop from the spares maintain by customer.

/  Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective vendors

/  Troubleshooting printer / scanner related issues at users’ desktop/laptop and reporting hardware issues to vendors

/  Configure the desktops using tools

/  Manage disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktops

/  Assist users in accessing applications based on standard SOP’s

/  Installation and configuration of application clients (as per SOP provided by CUSTOMER )

/  Vendor co-ordination in terms of Call logging, tracking and closure for OEM calls pertain to hardware, software and networking support

/  Providing basic support on video conferencing call setup

/  Vendor coordination in case of problems in VC equipment or set-up

/  Troubleshooting to resolve and maintain IP reach ability between the VC equipment

/  Support on Mobility Devices based on SOP Provided by customer (Configuration of Devices only)

Provide basic support to voice equipment including support for the Customer’s VOIP voice devices such as plugging in the headsets and carrying out headset settings
