Must demonstrate solid proficiency in architecting and building robust, scalable, and high-throughput systems.

**Job Description: Engineering Manager (Backend)**

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Lead a team of engineers in developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-throughput backend systems.

2. Architect technically sound solutions that meet the scalability and performance requirements of the platform.

3. Manage multiple teams and ensure effective collaboration and communication.

4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and prioritize tasks.

6. Drive initiatives related to system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

7. Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

8. Handle people management responsibilities including performance evaluation, career development, and team building.

**Required Skills:**

1. 10+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on backend systems.

2. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

3. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

4. Solid understanding of distributed systems and system design principles.

5. Expertise in scalability, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.

6. Previous experience managing multiple engineering teams.

7. Familiarity with NoSQL databases and other relevant technologies.

8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

**Additional Requirements:**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
