Role Overview

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-3), you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design and implement robust automated testing solutions, define testing strategies, and lead quality initiatives. Additionally, you will mentor and collaborate with a high-performing team to push the boundaries of software testing excellence.

What You’ll Do

Test Automation Development

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performing test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for complex applications.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Conduct both manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure software meets user expectations.
• Perform performance and scalability tests using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

CI/CD Integration

• Seamlessly integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for continuous feedback.
• Maintain and monitor test environments to support rapid releases.

Strategy & Mentorship

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to create test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases.
• Mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including strategies, test cases, and test results.

Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software within deadlines.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with security testing tools and practices.
• Experience in testing microservices and APIs.
