About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SDET Engineer to drive our software quality engineering initiatives. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration across web, mobile, and API platforms. As a Lead SDET, you will mentor a team of test engineers, optimize automation processes, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality consumer products at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API platforms.
- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs, ensuring best practices in automation testing, CI/CD pipeline management, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and execute automated and manual test cases.
- Perform peer code reviews and optimize existing automation suites.
- Manage deployment of test suites on Jenkins and integrate monitoring tools like Grafana for error analysis.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in test scripts and environments.
- Validate and manage data integrity across databases using SQL.
- Generate detailed HTML and Extent Reports for tracking and sharing test results.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Technical Skills Required:
- Programming Languages: Java
- Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured
- Build & CI/CD Tools: Maven, Jenkins, Git
- Test Frameworks: TestNG, Page Object Model (POM)
- API Testing Tools: Postman
- Database: SQL
- Monitoring Tools: Grafana
- Project Management Tools: JIRA
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation, with a strong focus on functional, UI, and API testing.
- Proven experience in leading a team of SDETs and driving automation initiatives.
- Expertise in developing automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
