Job Overview

We are looking for a Lead Engineer Backend PHP to join our Client's amazing team at Delhi (Remote). This is a senior-level position requiring a minimum of 6 years to a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience. The job location is in Delhi, and the employment type is remote, full-time. The ideal candidate will spearhead backend development, leveraging their expertise in microservices, PHP, and system design to create and manage scalable backend systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in Microservices (Mandatory skill) with a deep understanding of its architecture.
• Expertise in PHP (Mandatory skill) for backend development.
• Strong grasp of System Design (Mandatory skill) principles to build scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration of services.
• Excellent database management skills, capable of designing and optimizing complex database schemas.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience with the capability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead backend development projects ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
• Architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient backend microservices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Optimize system performance and address scalability issues to handle growing user base and data volume.
• Ensure the security and integrity of application data through robust authentication and authorization implementations.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the codebase current and effective.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team’s technical proficiency.
