Organization : A well established manufacturing company specialized in Automotive Components.
Role:
- Oversee and manage all plant operations including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with IATF standards and regulations, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall plant performance.
- Lead and motivate the production team to achieve production targets while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
- Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, procurement, and sales to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Implement and maintain best practices for lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and waste reduction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, training, and development within the plant.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans and goals for the plant.
- Act as a liaison between the plant and corporate headquarters, providing regular updates and reports on plant performance and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (full time) is required, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an automotive components manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of IATF standards and quality management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage production, quality, and operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant quality improvement methodologies.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0.
- Previous experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment.
