Organization : A well established manufacturing company specialized in Automotive Components.


Role:

  1. Oversee and manage all plant operations including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics.
  2. Ensure compliance with IATF standards and regulations, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall plant performance.
  4. Lead and motivate the production team to achieve production targets while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
  5. Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, procurement, and sales to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
  6. Implement and maintain best practices for lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and waste reduction.
  7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, training, and development within the plant.
  9. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans and goals for the plant.
  10. Act as a liaison between the plant and corporate headquarters, providing regular updates and reports on plant performance and initiatives.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (full time) is required, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  2. Proven experience in a leadership role within an automotive components manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong understanding of IATF standards and quality management systems.
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage production, quality, and operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  6. Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a results-oriented mindset.
  7. Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Knowledge of automotive industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  10. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Additional Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  2. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant quality improvement methodologies.
  3. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  4. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0.
  5. Previous experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment.
