Immediate opening for Associate Manager – Plant Finance (Direct role with leading FMCG Company)

Experience - 4 +

Location- Lucknow or

(People willing to relocate to Lucknow)

Notice- Immediate to 60

Financial

Outcomes

Must

have - FMCG Experience, Accounting knowledge, handle large plant, lead a team

in finance, larger plants.

 Preparation of Monthly Factory MIS (monthly book closure in

terms of factory) with strict adherence to Cost Accounting Standards.

 Analyze manufacturing costs and preparing monthly reports

comparing Standard vs Actual Production costs; Analyze changes in product

design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine

effects on cost.

 Drive cost saving / productivity initiatives.

Maintenance of Cost Accounting records / systems

Manage Capitalisation and CWIP settlement.

Exercise financial controls in the areas of Manufacturing,

Warehousing & Supply Chain across locations.

Updation and circulation of Costing sheet upon changes in cost

drivers.

Strict control on RM, PM and FG Inventory - planning according to

Budgets; Report variations vs Budget and PY to senior management on an ongoing

basis.

Accruals for slow moving and Obsolete stock and inventory closing.

Review of physical verification of Inventory and reconciliation

with books.

 

Customer

Service

Work closely with the Departmental / Operations team in

improvement opportunities to optimize the processes, decrease cost &

Working Capital Optimization through innovative and transformation mindset.

Working with Operations / TCPL SNOP team to reduce FG inventory

across the value chain (CFA/Plants). This involves doing SKU rationalization

& SKU segmentation with inputs on Working capital for each SKU.

Ensure that all damage/expired stocks are cleared from the system

to reduce system inventory.

Partner in evaluating best model for expansion projects/new units.

Internal

Processes

Lead / Support for digitalization and automation to effectively

improve ways of working.

Drive improvements in processes and procedures.

 

Innovation

and Learning

Work together with Operations team for the preparation of Annual

Budgets, Financial Forecasting and Medium-term plans.

 Partner with Operations team in evaluating Capex In terms of

financial profitability.

 

What

are the Critical success factors for the Role?

CA or CWA with 2+ years’ post qualification work experience.

Good analytical ability & interpersonal skills with a strong

penchant for numbers.

Working knowledge in SAP.

Proficiency in MS Office

What

are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

FMCG environment or related industry experience.

Ability to connect with numbers.
