We are hiring for one of our leading FMCG client.
What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Financial Outcomes
Ù Supply/Availability (Sourcing) of all raw materials at production units with respect to production plan within the agreed inventory norms, SLA and set timeline.
Ù Sourcing price benchmarking to Market/Competitor's - RM Prices etc. Techno commercial negotiations and RM planning for foods manufacturing.
Ù Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Ù Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking, craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Customer Service
Ù Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
Ù Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Ù Maintain cordial relationship through frequent interaction with customers for ensuring long term business objectives.
Ù Prepare and share timely business information with key inferences to all internal stakeholders on a periodic basis pertaining to financial / operational parameters.
Ù Liaison with vendors & internal teams (QA, R&D) for RCA of quality led issues and ensure closures.
Internal Processes
Ù Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Ù Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Ù Ensure buying is routing through proper E-auctions – Ariba as per SOP.
Ù Manage contracts and purchase order/s in SAP and securing necessary approvals.
Ù Develop, and execute purchasing strategies.
Ù Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Innovation and Learning
Ù Lead digitization of bulk review report against the plan to have proper visibility.
Ù Collecting latest trends in the industry by effectively networking with internal / external
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
Ù Master’s degree in management/Commodities/food technology
Ù 8+ years of experience in Agri Commodity sourcing for an FMCG company
Ù Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Ù Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
Ù SAP – Experience of SAP -MM module is a must.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?
- Familiarity with the consumer goods industry and an understanding of its challenges and opportunities
Contract management to include all aspects (e.g. administer, review, manage, file, evaluate, analyze, and negotiate).; Supplier Negotiation and Relationship Management. Creative and effective problem solver, sound and reliable judgment, and unquestionable integrity
Good verbal and written communications with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
