What are the Key Objectives and Deliverables in this role? Financial Outcomes  Deliver regulatory support to India Business to ensure minimum financial implications due to compliance.  Support regulatory analysis of compliance issues related to processes, Operations, Procurement and Quality Assurance to make appropriate decisions that reduce wastage or losses. Customer Service  Provide inputs to multi-functional teams on regulatory aspects of projects from concept to launch.  Represent Regulatory Affairs function in NPD exercises and R&D projects.  Liaise with Operations and Procurement to ensure timely information exchange and vigilance on compliance matters.  Support Quality Assurance, especially Customer Care, on compliance related queries and actions.  Collaborate with R&D teams to generate and integrate information that support regulatory approvals.  Keep the stakeholders updated on the changes in the regulatory environment and identify the opportunities/challenges for the innovation efforts. Internal Processes  Support timely action and response to NPD requirements 0n ingredient, packaging material, finished goods and processes.  Responsible for compliance of all product labels, claims and advertisements  Preparation and maintenance of documentation related to Regulatory Affairs - collate and maintain repository of various key information.  Support Operations and Quality Assurance by providing timely regulatory guidance to ensure compliant functioning.  Build and sustain networks within team and with external/internal stakeholders.  Collaborating with R&D teams to generate and integrate information that support regulatory positions of the company products.  Assist in review and interpretation of relevant regulations. Innovation and Learning  Foster agility in responding to the routine regulatory needs of the organization.  Leverage digital tools to manage and analyze data to provide rapid response stakeholder queries What are the Critical success factors for the Role?  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in areas of food science, food technology, agriculture, nutritional science or life sciences with majors in Food Science and Nutrition.  2+ years of experience in the fields related to regulatory compliance-governance in food/ beverages/Nutraceuticals.  Experience in handling regulatory compliances in various categories such as Foods, Beverages, Water, Dietary Supplements and Nutraceuticals in domestic and international regulatory jurisdictions.  Basic knowledge of Organic food systems and the related regulatory regimes  Experience of working with multiple stakeholders related to food industry would be additional asset.  Ability to multitask, prioritize appropriately to balance a variety of tasks.  Skills to efficiently handle large amount of data and analyze the same for desired applications. What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?  Good fundamental knowledge of food science and technology with exposure to regulatory affairs.  Good communication and collaboration skills.  Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment and passion for innovation and learning.
