Role Summary: As a Principal Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure, you will lead and grow our core cloud infrastructure team based in India. This team will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of our machine learning infrastructure and applications, from development to deployment and scaling, ensuring they are robust, scalable, secure, and efficient. They will partner with the Product and Research teams in India and the US.

Qualifications:

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, as well as experience developing and operating large-scale systems in production.
• Proficiency in programming (Python, Java, Rust, C++ or similar)
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills with experience shipping products and working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containers (Kubernetes or related).
• Experience in building and operating multi-tenant SaaS services Preferred Experience:
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Basic understanding of machine learning model lifecycle management, from development to deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and scaling.
• Practical experience in working with GPU infrastructure in the cloud
• Experience obtaining and maintaining SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.
