Client: A Leading D2C baby product brand was founded in 2014 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Company is having annual turnover of around 120 Crs & employee strength of 120 employees & they are providing international safety standard certified bay products by their e-commerce website & online market platforms like Amazon, Flipkart & other leading online & offline platforms. 

Job Title – Senior Executive Purchase

Working days and timings - 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM (2nd & 4th Saturday off)

Location – Ahmedabad

Experience: - 4-7 years of relevant experience

Qualification - Any graduate

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiate terms and prices to ensure the best deals for the company.
• Purchase Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries in alignment with project timelines and business needs.
• Market Research: Continuously research market trends to identify new suppliers, products, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and manage contracts to secure favorable terms for the company while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain adequate stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Work closely with the finance team to ensure procurement stays within budget and identify areas for cost reduction without compromising on quality.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier information, and contracts. Provide regular procurement reports to management.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and compliance with local, national, and international regulations. Address any supply chain or procurement-related issues promptly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong understanding of procurement software and tools.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Knowledge of industry best practices and market trends. 
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
