Job Description: Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for driving sales of our products within designated territories. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The Sales Engineer will work closely with our sales and engineering teams to identify customer needs, provide technical support, and deliver effective solutions to meet client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends
- Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers
- Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Setting and achieving sales goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- dentifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field /MBA (Marketing)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales or Marketing.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
