Position: Logistics executive
Experience: 2 to 4 years
Qualification: Any graduate
Salary: 18000 TO 20000
Office Time: 10:00am 6:30 pm (6 days week Sunday off)
Job Role :
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that support the company's objectives and meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation and logistics service providers.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation and logistics activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
- Identify and implement best practices in logistics operations to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Required Skills:
- Advance Excel for MIS reports
- Knowledge of Prevailing Custom Rules and Regulations
- Should be willing to travel occasionally to the port
- Should be systematic in document filing
Desired Skills:
- Good Verbal & Written communication.
- Having experience of functional ERP
