Our client company committed a newly established candy manufacturing company. Currently in the process of setting up our unit and planning to start the operations soon.
Position: Food Technologist
Industry: FMCG / Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Product: Confectionery / Candy / Toffee
Location: Ahmedabad
Qualification: Food Technologist (Masters Preferred)
Experience: 3+ Years
Job Description:
All relevant skills and hands-on experience which is required to head and handle the manufacturing/production or processing of confectionery items such as Candies, Toffees, and similar products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of GMP & FSSAI principles, rules & guidelines
- Experience managing people, with ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Supervise the execution of production and logistics plans through operators and other hourly labor in production functions
- Participate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility
- Operate production line in accordance with FSSAI guidelines, GMPs.
- (Knowledge of HACCP/SQF program guidelines is preferred.)
- Direct and guide production & machine operators and their activities in execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, filling, packaging, shipping, etc)
- Responsible for shift change management and communication as well as daily production standards and labor reconciliation
- Develop employees to ensure compliance and achieve quality
- Resolve problems and mitigate operational issues that result in negative performance Support Lean Training
- Owns regulatory compliance and food safety process, including: proper sanitary condition, allergen control, pest control, food safety policy, employee safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in daily food review
- Support and execute relevant projects as needed
- Excellent Communication Skills Required.
