Job Overview

AX Sync is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer to join our vibrant team remotely. This full-time role is ideal for freshers located in Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, or Erode. Candidates should possess 0 to 1 year of work experience and display a passion for fashion design.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in fashion design principles to develop and execute creative ideas effectively.
• Knowledge of sewing techniques to construct garments with high precision and quality.
• Strong understanding of color theory to create visually appealing designs that resonate with current trends.
• Pattern making (Mandatory skill) to accurately translate design concepts into workable patterns.
• Expertise in fabric knowledge (Mandatory skill) to select appropriate materials for various designs.
• Sketching (Mandatory skill) ability to bring design ideas to life with detailed illustrations.
• Trend research skills to stay updated with industry movements and incorporate them into designs.
• Garment construction knowledge to ensure the construction process is seamless and efficient.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to develop new clothing lines that adhere to seasonal trends.
• Assist in creating sketches and design concepts for product development.
• Participate in fabric selection and sourcing processes to ensure quality and suitability.
• Support in preparing tech packs and design specifications for production teams.
• Contribute to pattern making and fittings, ensuring design integrity is maintained.
• Conduct trend analysis and market research to inform design decisions.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain an organized database of design ideas, sketches, and fabric swatches for future reference.
