Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Backend Engineer for a full-time position located in Surat. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of work experience in backend engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable applications. As a Senior-level position, this role requires expertise in various backend technologies to enhance our product offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill).
• Extensive experience with Docker (Mandatory skill).
• Proven expertise in AWS (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient in the Spring Framework, with the ability to utilize its various modules effectively.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with RESTful APIs to design and implement REST services.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and its implementation in various projects.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for database management and querying.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate the development, testing, and deployment processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by implementing suitable testing and monitoring practices.
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to improve the overall engineering skills of the team.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and compatibility.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the implementation of best practices.
