I.            Designation – Sr. Cyber Security Engineer – Position – 3  

 Job Location

Chennai & Mumbai  

·       Should have extensive working experience on NXT-Gen firewall with UTM functionality on OEM like (FortiGate / Palo Alto /Checkpoint / Cisco ASA ) preferred.

·       Strong understanding of UTM features such as antivirus, anti-malware, URL filtering, Application controls.

·       Extensive knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.

·       knowledge of security tools like SIEM, threat intelligence platforms and Vulnerabilities scanner (advantage)

·       Working knowledge on Network routing & switching technologies.

·       Basic knowledge on Cloud Proxy, ZTNA, CASB from OEM (Netskope, Zscaller, Palo Alto & Fortinet)

·       Ability to research/ investigate and resolve known and Unknown vulnerabilities.

·       Experience with TCP/UDP packet analysis and networking protocols using tools like Wireshark etc.

·       Ability to multitask prioritize coordinate work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

·       Work in 24X7 environment along with Teams across internal and external stakeholders to support and execute security Issues.

·       CCNP security, PCNSE or NSE 4 and above, are highly desirable.

Role & responsibilities

·       Provide day 2 day operational support in managing NXT Generation firewall with UTM.

·       Lead the design and architecture of next generation firewall solutions with a focus on cutting edge UTM features.

·       Implement and configure UTM features such as antivirus, anti-malware, IPS, URL filtering, application control.

·       Develop and enforce network security policies, access controls and firewall rules to maintain a secure and compliant network infrastructure.

·       Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats and security trends, analysing threat intelligence data to proactively enhance the firewall rule set and configuration.

·       Collaborate with SOC team to investigate and respond to security incidents.

·       Monitor and optimize the performance of NGFW devices to ensure efficient and effective traffic management.

·       Ensure NGFW configuration aligns with industry standards and participate in security audits.

·       Collaborate with OEM for POC.

Essential Skills

Security specialist with Fortinet/Palo Alto Firewall certification with minimum 5 yrs. experience/Certified Technical Specialist (FS), Fortinet NSE 4 , PCNSE, PCNSA, PCCSE managing security devices (firewall/IPS/ APT /WAF/VP N)/ PSE Hands-on Experience: Palo Alto, Cisco & Fortinet Firewalls

Salary Range – 15 to 18 Lacs
