Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our Clients team . As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial statements, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will play a key role in analyzing financial data, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Senior: 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and tax regulations.
• Experience in conducting audits and ensuring compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership abilities and willingness to mentor and guide junior staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial report preparation.
• Conduct audits to ensure financial controls and policies are followed, identify any risks or discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns, including GST and TDS.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
• Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
