Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance/control roles within the diamond cutting tools manufacturing industry or a closely related field.

Job Profile:

1. Lead the development and implementation of advanced quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.

2. Utilize advanced statistical tools and methodologies to analyse complex quality-related data, identify trends, predict potential issues, and drive data-driven decision-making.

3. Lead root cause analysis efforts to investigate quality issues, identify underlying causes, and develop effective corrective and preventive actions to address them.

4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and drive collective efforts towards quality excellence.

6. Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices, such as ISO 9001, and lead efforts to maintain and continuously improve the QMS.

7. Lead supplier quality management activities, including supplier evaluation, audits, and corrective action planning, to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

8. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior members of the quality team, fostering their professional development and ensuring a high level of competency within the department.

9. Develop and maintain key quality metrics and performance indicators. Generate comprehensive reports to track quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives, and present findings to senior management.
