Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr Executive Accounts Payable to join our finance team in Bangalore. This full-time mid-level position involves managing accounts payable processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have expertise in payment processing and vendor management, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues related to invoicing and payments promptly.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and execution of payments to maintain smooth business operations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports related to accounts payable activities for management review.
• Conduct monthly closings and reconciliations to support financial accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize SAP software for recording and managing financial data accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable processes.
• Maintain records and documentation for all payable transactions to facilitate audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting
• Proven experience in accounts payable processes to manage and track payments effectively (Mandatory skill).
• Skilled in handling invoicing procedures accurately to ensure timely payment of liabilities (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in payment processing to facilitate efficient transfer of funds (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in vendor management to sustain professional relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Ability to generate financial reports to provide insights into spending and accounts payable activities.
• Proficient in month-end reporting to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate fiscal records.
• Knowledge of SAP to utilize enterprise resource planning software for financial processes.
