Job Overview

This is a full-time, mid-level position located in Bangalore. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Executive for Accounts Payable with a requirement of 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the accounts payable function efficiently and effectively, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the accounts payable team to ensure end-to-end processing of invoices.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve payable systems and processes.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments and handling discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams for the resolution of invoice or payment disputes.
• Ensure accurate coding and processing of invoices in compliance with company policies.
• Conduct monthly closing activities for accounts payable accurately and on time.
• Prepare reports related to accounts payable KPIs and present them to management.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures in payment processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in handling accounts payable processes with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of vendor management, ensuring timely and accurate payments (Mandatory skill).
• Strong experience with invoicing processes to manage financial documentation effectively (Mandatory skill).
• Familiarity with GST and TDS regulations and their applications in business transactions.
• Experience in handling debit and credit notes, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Skilled in bank reconciliation to marry bank statements with accounting records accurately.
• Understanding of e-invoicing and e-way bill processes as per compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or Tally for efficient financial management and reporting.
