Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior National Sales Head for Institutional Business to join our dynamic team at Sturlite Electric Pvt Ltd. Based in Bangalore, this full-time position requires a strategic leader to drive our institutional sales efforts. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing sales strategies and planning in the institutional business sector.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in sales strategy and planning for institutional businesses, showcasing your ability to develop effective sales approaches for success (Mandatory skill).
- Extensive experience in institutional business, specifically within the Architect, Builders, and MEP Consultant space, with a focus on strong relationship management (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated expertise in business development, identifying and capturing new sales opportunities for organizational growth.
- Comprehensive understanding of lighting products, including a deep knowledge of the product range and their market applications.
- Proficient in channel sales management and B2B sales, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration with various sales channels.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
- Proven track record in handling institutional clients, delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, showcasing exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive institutional sales and achieve designated targets in line with company objectives.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales objectives effectively.
- Identify and build strong relationships with key decision-makers within the institutional sector, including Architects, Builders, MEP Consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and market demand.
- Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and status reports to senior management, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by addressing client concerns promptly and efficiently, maintaining long-lasting partnerships.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and expand business networks to support institutional sales growth.
