Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Account Executive to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining transparency within our finance department.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices and vendor payments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of transactions
• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain consistency between bank statements and accounting records
• Prepare and manage debit and credit notes, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded in the system
• Oversee the computation and timely filing of TDS and GST returns, ensuring compliance with laws
• Utilize Tally or SAP for day-to-day financial operations, improving system efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or financial queries
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements for management review
• Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as necessary to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in invoice processing, vendor invoice processing, and bank reconciliation (Mandatory skill)
• Expertise in handling debit note transactions, ensuring proper record-keeping and error-free accounting
• Experience with credit notes, including their preparation and timely reconciliation with financial records
• Well-versed in the calculation and filing of TDS, ensuring compliance with taxation regulations
• Comprehensive understanding of GST, including filing procedures and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with Tally or SAP for efficient accounting software utilization
• Analytical skills to provide clear insights and solutions related to financial discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial reports
