·        Lead a team of Design and Production engineers and create a world class manufacturing facility which will produce “Made in India” machines.

·        Guide and coach the team towards talent management & handling Training & Development functions.

·        Conceptualize and implement best practices across Design, Purchase and Production functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Responsible for Design Department output in terms of quality and quantity.

·        Responsible for the use of the latest Design and Analytical tools.

·        Ensure that creativity and innovation are the keywords in Design

·        Designs must be competitive in the market so that we can match the best products in the world in

terms of quality and price.

·        Production Layout and throughput must be conforming to the best practices in the world.

·        Implement and operate meaningful dashboards for the Directors through SAP

·        Preparing annual cost budgets for the company.

·        Ensure that expenses (capital and revenue) expenses are within budget.

·        Periodical meetings with engineers on performance.

·        Ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact/ personal calls, feedback forms in

collaboration with marketing department.

·        To upgrade soft skills of all personnel in the departments through personal & collective training.

·        Training new joinees on Design, Production and Purchase skills

·        To conduct penultimate round of interview for all potential recruits.

·        Assist in achieving employee satisfaction and motivation for higher levels of performance &

controlling attrition.

·        Preparing of Roles & responsibilities for all design team members reporting to you.

·        Overall cost control.

·        Help all departments to achieve ISO quality objectives.

·        To ensure the Machine Manufacturing Division’s profitability.

·        Regular meetings with Directors on all above areas plus other areas and making necessary

changes as per Management requirements.

·        SAP Maintenance & Support to team

DESIRED PROFILE

·        Relevant experience in Machine design & development of industrial

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·        Deep knowledge and experience in design and detailing of medium to large size special purpose machines. Needs to have good understanding of mechanisms and integration of components and sub system.

·        Should be expert with manufacturing drawings of parts, assembly drawings, part lists and basic engineering calculations.

·        Needs to have specific experience in design and detailing of medium to large size special purpose machines. Needs to have good understanding of mechanisms and integration of components and sub system.

·        Willing to travel all over India whenever necessary

·        Good Leadership and Analytical skills.
