As a Quality Check Engineer, you will be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our products, ensuring that all quality benchmarks are met across various stages of production while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 3+ years as a Quality Check Engineer or in a similar role, ideally in luxury furniture, interior design, or high-end manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, upholstery materials, and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of production processes and compliance with industry standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant quality control tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality checks at three stages of production—initial, mid-level, and final—to ensure product quality and adherence to specified standards.
• Analyze and review engineering drawings throughout production to ensure technical specifications and design requirements are met.
• Evaluate upholstery for comfort and aesthetics, ensuring it aligns with premium product standards.
• Coordinate between design, production, and technical teams to streamline processes and ensure effective communication.
• Provide daily updates on delivery schedules and project progress to ensure transparency within the team and with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports on quality checks, production status, and system updates, providing necessary information to relevant teams.
• Manage an updated product library with technical specifications, design aspects, and visual elements.
• Address product complaints and resolve issues promptly by collaborating with production and design teams.
• Oversee upholstery-related processes, ensuring that all requirements are met and processes are accurate and up-to-date.
• Mentor and train new team members to ensure the team adheres to quality standards and processes.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in quality control and production processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all industry standards and internal quality benchmarks, staying updated on regulatory changes.
