Job Overview

The Senior Accounts Executive will be based in Gurgaon and will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with up to 10 years of experience looking to leverage their expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within an operations consulting environment.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, capable of preparing consistent and detailed financial statements aligning with industry standards.
  • Expertise in budgeting, with a track record in facilitating effective budget planning and monitoring processes to enhance financial performance.
  • Strong skills in account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial accounts and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in tax preparation, ensuring compliance with all local, national, and international tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in audit compliance, able to efficiently prepare for both internal and external audits ensuring all financial practices adhere to legal requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, providing insightful reports and recommendations to guide business decisions and strategies.
  • Experience in cash flow management, optimizing the movement of funds in and out of the business to maintain optimal liquidity and efficiency.
  • Operational understanding of ERP systems, utilizing such platforms to enhance financial processes and data management efficiency.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and counsel, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances to stakeholders timely.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the company's accounting policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits of policies, procedures, and guidelines, and present detailed audit reports to management with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance, resolving any audit-related issues efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of various local, state, and federal tax returns, staying updated with tax regulations.
  • Develop and maintain the financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions and reconciliations.
