  1. Job Description(Role & Responsibilities):
  2. To run the plant at designed capacity & get desired quality of FG. Manage all aspects of production/plant on a day-to-day basis, viz. Production, Process Parameters, Manpower, Systems, Documentation, Safety, Maintenance, etc.
  3. Continuous Product Improvement. Develop guidelines for Production/ Operations and ensure standards are followed at the plant.
  4. Ensure daily/ weekly production targets are achieved.
  5. Ensure sufficient inventory of all inputs, packing, etc., are maintained as per SOPs.
  6. Technical & Engineering contribution to plant for product/ process improvements.
  7. Develop SOPs and QA activities. Review quality reports, identify & address quality issues.
  8. Ensure all safety standards, compliances and maintenances are followed.
  9. Plant Manpower Management, monitoring and records keeping.
  10. Machineries: Reactors, filtration, Resin treatment, Crystalization, Concentration, Spray Drier, and utilities: Boiler, MVR, chiller, Compressor, Cooling tower, RO, etc.
  11. Handling of solvents(methanol & ethanol).
  12. Any other work assigned by the management.
  13. Job(factory) Location: Bavla(near Ahmedabad)
  14. Candidate Profile:
  15. Must have experience in overall Production & Plant management in API or similar industry.
  16. Knowledgeable in quality management of root cause analysis for quality improvement.
  17. Knowledge of analytical method validation, QC: HPLC, Chromatography, etc.
  18. Excellent organizational, communications, interpersonal and team interaction skills.
  19. Leadership skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams. Able to work with cross functional departments within the organization.
  20. Highly motivated, self-directed and a self-starter. Able to provide input on improving systems and processes.
  21. Good problem solving and corrective action/resolution skills.
  22. Desired Profile/ Experience/ eligibility: B.Sc.(chemistry) with 10-15yrs of relevant experience in production/plant management in API. Strong implementation skills, manpower handling, high Integrity & outcome oriented.
  23. Physically fit, non-smoker or tobacco chewing.
  24. Age: Preferably 40-50yrs, but not more than 55.
