Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Steward to join our team at StayBird in Pune. This is a full-time, junior position requiring 1 to 3 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. As a steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services and maintaining high standards of customer service.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Customer Service (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail (Mandatory skill): Exceptional attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Time Management (Mandatory skill): Strong time management skills to efficiently manage tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up for service.
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and kitchen areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new services, products, and customer service techniques.
