Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Receptionist for our Pune Division, full-time position at a junior level. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. Positioned in our vibrant hospitality environment, you will act as the face of our company, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience (Mandatory skill).
- Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with diverse clientele and team members (Mandatory skill).
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards (Mandatory skill).
- Excellent organizational skills to manage bookings and maintain accurate records efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reservation documentation and guest information.
- Proficiency in problem-solving to address and resolve guest queries and complaints promptly.
- Basic computer skills for handling reservation systems and administrative tasks effectively.
- Time management abilities to handle front-office operations and ensure timely guest services.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival, check them in, and provide information about the hotel's facilities.
- Manage reservations, alterations, and cancellations via phone, email, and in-person communications.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest concerns and requests.
- Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and escalate issues as needed for swift resolution.
- Maintain accurate guest records and manage cash and credit card transactions securely.
- Assist guests with travel arrangements and recommendations for local attractions and events.
- Support event coordination activities by liaising with clients and relevant hotel departments.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring it represents the hotel's standards.
