Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team in Pune. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and team management to ensure the highest quality of food and service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in menu planning and designing innovative dishes (Mandatory skill).
- Proven experience in kitchen management, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows (Mandatory skill).
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to mentor and lead kitchen staff (Mandatory skill).
- High culinary creativity with the ability to produce diverse and high-quality dishes.
- Exceptional leadership skills to motivate and guide the team towards excellence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively liaising with staff and management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food quality and service.
- Developing new and innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Managing kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
- Collaborating with management on budget planning and cost control measures.
- Handling customer feedback and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
