Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join StayBird - Hotels And Apartments in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of culinary experience, expertise in menu planning, and strong time management skills. This full-time, mid-level position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences for our guests
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven culinary skills with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in menu planning, including creating diverse and appealing dishes (Mandatory skill).
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment (Mandatory skill).
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Creative flair for food presentation and designing new recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Attention to detail to ensure consistency in taste and presentation across all dishes.
- Outstanding organizational abilities to maintain a well-structured and efficient kitchen.
- Strong teamwork skills to lead and collaborate with kitchen staff effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that cater to diverse guest preferences and dietary requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs without compromising quality.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and arrange for maintenance or repair as needed.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events, banquets, and themed dining experiences.
- Continuously seek feedback and improve culinary offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
