Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at StayBird's Pune location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a keen eye for detail, bringing a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of experience in a professional kitchen. This full-time, mid-level position requires a creative individual who can maintain high food safety and preparation standards while contributing to our dynamic and innovative culinary offerings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of professional cooking experience, emphasizing a strong foundation in culinary fundamentals.
- Proficiency in food preparation, including the ability to execute dishes with accuracy and efficiency (Mandatory skill).
- Knife skills with expertise in a variety of cutting techniques to ensure consistency and precision (Mandatory skill).
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment (Mandatory skill).
- Mastery of a wide range of culinary techniques, enabling the preparation of diverse and innovative dishes.
- Experience in menu planning, contributing creative and appealing options for diverse clientele.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate multiple tasks and orders during busy service periods.
- Organizational skills to maintain orderly workstations and manage inventory effectively.
- Creativity to develop and implement new recipes aligned with the company's standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

- Manage food inventory, track usage, and place orders to ensure fresh and adequate supply.
