Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our team at StayBird in Pune Division. This is a full-time position at the mid-level, requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary and organizational skills and a firm understanding of food safety practices. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and presentations in order to maintain high-quality standards of taste and presentation
- Adhere to health and safety standards by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen tools, equipment, and the overall kitchen environment
- Plan and price menu items, order supply inventories, and assist in checking the delivery of food and supplies
- Manage food preparation and production activities to reduce wastage and ensure cost-effective operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor and oversee the quality and consistency of food served to guests
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and help foster a team-oriented work environment
- Stay updated with culinary trends and incorporate new techniques and cuisines into menu planning
