Job Overview

We are hiring for the role of ETP Operator at STAFFREX INFO SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. As an ETP Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure the efficient treatment and disposal of industrial wastewater. This is a full-time position located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India, and we are looking for candidates with Junior level experience of 1 to 3 years.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as an ETP Operator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of effluent treatment processes and equipment, such as clarifiers, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Monitor the performance of the ETP, including the treatment processes and equipment.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of the ETP.
• Collect and analyze samples of industrial wastewater to assess the effectiveness of the treatment process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the ETP, such as equipment malfunctions or process inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of ETP operations, including water usage, chemical consumption, and treatment efficiency.
• Ensure the safe handling and storage of chemicals used in the treatment process.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations while operating the ETP.
