Qualification:

Any Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of relevant experience in textile industry/ garment manufacturing

Language proficiency:

Ability to read, write and speak in Tamil & English is must. Proficiency in other regional languages (Hindi) is an added advantage

Job Roles and Responsibility:

• l Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for garment production
• l Conduct inspections and tests at all stages: raw materials, in-process, and final product
• l Ensure product identification, traceability, and test status are maintained
• l Perform periodic maintenance of instruments and machines, keeping detailed records
• l Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues, enhance processes, and ensure targets are achieved
• l Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout production
• l Monitor and assess supplier quality performance, addressing any concerns
• l Conduct audits of manufacturing facilities and processes to ensure adherence to quality management systems
• l Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality metrics, inspection results, and audit findings
• l Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices, identifying and addressing training needs
• l Analyze customer feedback and returns to identify and address trend and areas of improvement
• l Implement quality management systems like ISO 9001 and drive continuous improvement
• l Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to management
• l Develop, manage, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to align with quality system requirements and effectively work with technical, development, and production teams
• l Assist technicians with pattern/specification checks and resolve production issues
• l Supervise sample evaluation and production approval, reviewing measurement, workmanship, fitting, and accessories.
• l Monitor QA/QC performance by gathering production data and producing statistical reports.
• l Ensure all quality and production issues are addressed through auditing and controlling.
• l Manage production planning, machine maintenance, and proper utilization of MMR.
• l Approve size set samples, conduct pre-production meetings, and perform in-line inspections.
• l Approve prints, embroidery, washes, and other requirements as per the buying house.
• l Conduct final pre-inspections with random box checks to verify weight, bundles, pieces, and embellishments against the sealer sample, ensuring AQL compliance and providing updates to the buying QC team
