Job Overview

SSM InfoTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Junior Proposal Engineer for a full-time position in Surat. The role requires 1 to 3 years of work experience. As a Proposal Engineer, you will be integral in crafting quality proposals that meet client needs and enhance our competitive stance in the market. The job involves technical writing, cost estimation, and bid management as mandatory skills.

1. Proposal

• Collect, review and analyse customer requirements and specifications with the help of product Vertical team.
• Work with Sales & Product Vertical team to generate the best competitive technical solution while maximizing SSM's position and satisfying customer requirements.
• Under the supervision of the Head Technical Sales, establish the overall index of the whole Technical Proposal and review it with the HOD / RM, in order to establish the overall strategy and approach to the preparation of the Technical/Commercial Proposal.
• Under the supervision of the HOD/RM/Product Vertical, establish split of responsibilities or Scope of deliverables between ourselves and our partner/client and reviewing it with the Proposal Manager prior to issuing split of responsibilities to involved parties.
• Follow up with purchase team and vendors for pricing.

2. Bidding

• Prepare pre-qualification documentation.
• Prepare and produce tender and full proposal documentation on qualified bids ensuring bid compliance.
• Check all contract documentation and ensure compliance when a bid is successful
• Produce bid support material as required
• In agreement with sales prioritise bids giving the highest return on hours invested.

• Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Degree Or Diploma in Engineering or Technology
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry.
• Understanding of overall business and various functional arrangements of SSM Infotech.
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel when required.
