A site supervisor's primary responsibility is to manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: 

• Managing workers
• Overseeing construction workers and subcontractors, delegating tasks, and ensuring they have the resources they need to complete their work 
• Ensuring safety
• Implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring workers are wearing the appropriate protective equipment 
• Managing materials
• Ordering and delivering construction materials, and ensuring the construction crew doesn't run out 
• Managing schedules
• Creating work schedules and organizing staff 
• Reviewing plans
• Checking building plans and blueprints to ensure they meet building regulations 
• Monitoring progress
• Keeping track of the project's progress, identifying issues, and addressing them 
• Communicating
• Liaising with clients, architects, and engineers, and attending site management meetings 
• Completing reports
• Providing regular reports to the site manager or construction manager
