Job Description: As a Store Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional customer service while driving sales and maximizing profitability for the store. You will play a pivotal role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, meeting their needs, and promoting our products and services. Your strong communication skills and ability to build rapport will be crucial in meeting sales quotas and fostering customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and Direct Customers: Welcome customers as they enter the store, assist them in finding products, and guide them through the purchasing process.
- Provide Accurate Information: Offer detailed information about plants, pricing, and after-sales services to help customers make informed decisions.
- Answer Customer Queries: Address customers' questions regarding specific plants or services, demonstrating expertise and enthusiasm.
- Ensure Stock Availability: Regularly check and restock merchandise on shelves and racks to maintain a visually appealing and fully stocked store.
- Manage Returns: Handle merchandise returns efficiently, following established procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize losses.
- Coordinate with Team: Collaborate with Retail Sales Representatives team, especially during peak hours, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Promote Discounts and Special Offers: Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and special offers to encourage sales and enhance customer loyalty.
- Provide Feedback: Share customer feedback, suggestions, and concerns with the Store Manager to improve service quality and address issues promptly.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new plants, services, and customer needs to effectively communicate information to customers and drive sales.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role within a retail environment.
- Understanding of the retail sales process and inventory stocking procedures.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating discounts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
