Position Title: Process Engineer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Industry: Refinery and Petrochemical

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the design and execution of process engineering for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, particularly within ISBL (Inside Battery Limits) of refinery and petrochemical units. The candidate should possess sound execution knowledge of various process deliverables and interdisciplinary interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Design and Development:
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) from scratch.
• Create process design philosophies and process control strategies.
• Perform steady-state simulations and design modular skids and packages.

• Project Phases:
• Develop Process Design Basis (PDB) packages for Pre-FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and FEED projects.
• Ensure seamless integration and continuity through all project phases.

• Coordination and Evaluation:
• Interface and coordinate with vendors and licensors for project alignment and timely delivery.
• Conduct licensor evaluations and vendor coordination to ensure project requirements are met.

• Technical Expertise:
• Exposure to Methanol-to-Gasoline/Jet Fuel technology and Lube/Dewaxing technology is preferred.

• Software Proficiency:
• Utilize process engineering software tools such as AspenPlus, Hysys, PROII, FlareNet, KORF, AFT, and HTRI effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

• Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in process engineering within the refinery and petrochemical sectors.
• Proven track record of working on Greenfield and Brownfield projects, particularly ISBL.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in developing PFDs, P&IDs, and process design philosophies.
• Experience with steady-state simulation, modular skid design, and package systems.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering software tools: AspenPlus, Hysys, PROII, FlareNet, KORF, AFT, and HTRI.

• Execution and Coordination:
• Sound execution knowledge of various process deliverables and interdisciplinary interfaces.
• Experience in vendor coordination and licensor evaluation.

• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and execution mindset.
