Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures, policies, and standards for civil engineering projects.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Review and approve materials, equipment, and construction methods to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Identify, document, and address any quality issues or non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and records related to quality control activities.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to quality assurance and control in civil engineering.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Minimum of 10years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the civil engineering or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proven experience in managing QA/QC teams and projects, with a track record of successfully delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
