Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Safety Officer for our team's mid-level position in Lupech, Gujarat. This is a full-time role requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety in compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially in the context of Engineering, Procurement, And Construction (EPC) projects.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience in risk assessment and the ability to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Experienced in delivering comprehensive safety training programs to educate employees on safety practices.
  • Skilled in Incident Investigation to determine root causes of accidents and prevent future occurrences.
  • Education (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) and PDIS (Professional Diploma in Industrial Safety).
  • Expertise in Engineering, Procurement, And Construction (EPC). (Mandatory skill)


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on safety performance to management and regulatory bodies.
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate safety measures into daily operations and project plans.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to safety activities and compliance requirements.
