- Knowledge of vigilance matter as referred to legal branch.

- Knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts and other legal agreements or documents.

- Grievance Handling.

- Developing labour policies.

- Statutory compliance under 

(1) Factories Act 1948

(2) Provident Fund Act

(3) ESIC Act

(4) The Apprentice Act 1961

(5) The Contract Labour (R & A) Act 1970

(6) The Minimum wages Act 1948

(7) The Payment of Gratuity Act 1972

(8) The Payment of Bonus Act 1965

(9) The Equal Remuneration Act 1976

(10) Inspection under The Labour Welfare Fund Act

(11) The Payment of Wages Act 1936

(12) The Maternity benefit Act 1961

(13) The Industrial Employment ( Standing Orders) Act 1946

(14) The Industrial Disputes Act 1947
